Spring Breaking

We are Spring Breaking this week!! I got to sleep in this morning since dad wasn't here. If you can even call sleeping until 8:00 sleeping in. Anyways. It was nice. Even the babies didn't want to get up.
I went to lunch with a couple of teacher friends. We tried a new place called The Main Cheese. Hello gourmet grilled cheese. It was fabulous! Kev was jealous, so we will be going back soon. After lunch I shopped.
I found the lamp on the right at Marshall's on Clearance. The light socket was a little wobbly, but superglue fixed it. I've had the lamp on the left for years. It was in the living room at the rent house. I loved the color in our master bedroom and wanted to find something similar. They are exactly the same color and I love the fact they they don't match but sort of do.

A friend posted a picture of these books on Facebook tonight. The top one caught my eye so I bought it  and will be reading it tonight. I may check out the others too. My books selection revolves around children's literature, so I sometimes lose touch with the adult book world.

Football Merchandise

It's football season and Walmart has all their Razorback merchandise out. I was browsing the aisle the other day and saw these. I immediately thought whiskey! A great way to sneak liquor into the stadium. Of course the back says intended for water only. Yeah right! No one looks at this and says water.

And a Roof

They finished the roof up today! Back of the house. Front of the house. They use these to hold the plywood together.

Ballyseede Castle

Tralle was a good stopping point from Dingle to Doolin. When looking for places to stay I came across the Ballyseede Castle Hotel. It was a little pricey, but since we had such great deals on all of the other B&Bs, I splurged. It's one of the best known Castle Hotels in Ireland, has a history dating back to the 1590’s and sits on 30 acres of native woodlands. The castle has 23 en-suite bedrooms and 3 beautiful private rooms complimented by enchanting formal gardens. To read about the history of the castle click here. We stayed in the Coghill room.   We had a nice view of the gardens. Here are other pictures from inside the castle. We had to have our picture made with the knights.   We Googled and found a restaurant in town that was supposed to be delicious. It was nestled on the shore overlooking the bay. We arrived about 5:30 and watched the sunset. The food was fabulous, however the service was not. ...
