Another Year in the Books

Happy New Year from us!! We enjoyed a very low key night with some very good friends. I don't really have any new goals or resolutions this year.  I w ill always want to workout/ run more. I bought a year membership to Jazzercise last month and I started going right after work.  We are still trying to cut out processed foods. I joined 100 Days of Real Food's 14 week mini-challenge. I've been reading labels more and noticing how many chemicals and artificial flavors we are putting in our bodies. I want to start making homemade and freezing for quick uses. Maybe I can run the full St. Jude come December.  Reading more books is also on my goal list.  (There hasn't been any free time for reading this past year.) Books for enjoyment and professional growth. We had a very low key New Year's Eve this year at ...

Let There Be Light!

Power was restored yesterday late afternoon. We decided to wait til this morning to lug everything back. It's New Year's Eve and I am sick with 100.7 fever! Ugh! This has been a hell of a Christmas break. Just left the drug store and stocked up on Kleenex, the kind with lots of lotion, and cold medicine. May be ringing in the New Year at home this year. Here's to 2013!
