And Another...

Ice day!
Come on now it's March 3 and we received a good inch of sleet last night. They canceled school around 8:00. It's getting freaking ridiculous. I'm not sure how many days we have missed. There's been so many snow/ice days, some on the weekends and some during the week. We already go to school later than most, so this will put us going the second week in June. I really feel bad for Northern Arkansas where some schools have up to 20 days. They're even giving up their Spring Break! Anyways back to today...

The high is 25 and the weather man just said that if we do not get above freezing today, this will be the coldest March day in history!!! Go away winter. I NEED warmer air and sunshine!

Football Merchandise

It's football season and Walmart has all their Razorback merchandise out. I was browsing the aisle the other day and saw these. I immediately thought whiskey! A great way to sneak liquor into the stadium. Of course the back says intended for water only. Yeah right! No one looks at this and says water.

And a Roof

They finished the roof up today! Back of the house. Front of the house. They use these to hold the plywood together.

Ballyseede Castle

Tralle was a good stopping point from Dingle to Doolin. When looking for places to stay I came across the Ballyseede Castle Hotel. It was a little pricey, but since we had such great deals on all of the other B&Bs, I splurged. It's one of the best known Castle Hotels in Ireland, has a history dating back to the 1590’s and sits on 30 acres of native woodlands. The castle has 23 en-suite bedrooms and 3 beautiful private rooms complimented by enchanting formal gardens. To read about the history of the castle click here. We stayed in the Coghill room.   We had a nice view of the gardens. Here are other pictures from inside the castle. We had to have our picture made with the knights.   We Googled and found a restaurant in town that was supposed to be delicious. It was nestled on the shore overlooking the bay. We arrived about 5:30 and watched the sunset. The food was fabulous, however the service was not. ...
