Our Weekend - Part Two

I woke up around 2:00am and Kev wasn't in bed. I heard water running, so I figured he was up getting a drink. Well... It kept running. I got up and Lily had jumped out of the dog shower and turned on the shower. Water was everywhere. I used every towel in the laundry room to mop it up. I didn't have my glasses on so of course I couldn't really see. I threw all the wet towels in the washer. What a mess. I kind of worried about this happening and bought a cap, but since it didn't seem to be a problem we never used it.
Everyone sleeping in. Our bed looks like this every Sunday morning.
Perla brought another mouse to the door last night.
Sunday afternoon we went tout to Kev's dads to help him cut up a tree that fell.

The dogs went too. They are always so excited to ride.
They ran around and got extra muddy and wet.

Football Merchandise

A great way to sneak liquor into the stadium. Of course the back says intended for water only. Yeah right! No one looks at this and says water.

And a Roof

They finished the roof up today! Back of the house. Front of the house. They use these to hold the plywood together.

House Exteriors

I spend most of my free time these days staring at the freaking computer looking for ideas for our house. There is a site Houzz . It's my new addiction. If you haven't ever explored it check it out. This makes it so easy to go back and review favorites. I have several boards dedicated to various rooms and the outside of the house. My focus these days is on the exterior. Hopefully in the next two weeks I will have a house pad and be ready to frame the house. I  know that I want a metal roof (not sure what color), cedar columns, stone, and cedar siding/shingles. not sure about color combination, how much siding or how much stone, and the front porch and walkway (the front yard will be pretty steep). I'm on Spring Break this week so I plan on visiting some lumber yards so I get a closer look at certain materia...
