Fire on a Mountain

I. Am. Done. With. My. Project! I finished it up Friday and drove it to Arkadelphia this morning.

Our whole freaking state is under extreme drought! The scorching sun has fried the leaves and grass causing any spark to catch ablaze. I spotted one on my way to Arkadelphia. The fire trucks and police were just getting there when I drove by. Notice the photographer on the side of the road. It really sucks. At one time there were over 56 wildfires burning just in the state! It's been so freaking hot and dry this summer!! We need a break!

Football Merchandise

It's football season and Walmart has all their Razorback merchandise out. I was browsing the aisle the other day and saw these. I immediately thought whiskey! A great way to sneak liquor into the stadium. Of course the back says intended for water only. Yeah right! No one looks at this and says water.

And a Roof

They finished the roof up today! Back of the house. Front of the house. They use these to hold the plywood together.

Dogwoods

Sunday I inventoried our Dogwood Trees. We have 24 total. Some are just small bushes. There are probably about 12 big trees. I marked them so that when we are clearing brush later we won't kill them. My hope is to clear out some around them so they can all grow into large trees. They are absolutely beautiful to look at!!! I want to get some more pictures, but I got Poison Ivy on my legs the other day so I'm staying out of the woods for now.
