Winter has Arrived and It's Early!!

'Ol Man Winter has stole my favorite season!! It's not even Thanksgiving and there have already been two morning where I have woken up to a dusting of snow. Last weekend it snowed several inches just north of us. All last week and the beginning of this week temperature lows have been in the twenties and highs in the thirties. RIDICULOUS!!!
Snow on the playground. We have had lots of indoor recess. That means lots of pinned up energy from kids.
Last Sunday's radar.
This does not make me happy! I do like winter, but January and February are enough for me. I've already had to pull out the warm scarves and coats.I'm sure we will have tons of snow days if we are already seeing snow in November. I'm not looking forward to making all of them up in June. Winter GO AWAY!!

Football Merchandise

A great way to sneak liquor into the stadium. Of course the back says intended for water only. Yeah right! No one looks at this and says water.

And a Roof

They finished the roof up today! Back of the house. Front of the house. They use these to hold the plywood together.

Ballyseede Castle

It was a little pricey, but since we had such great deals on all of the other B&Bs, I splurged. It's one of the best known Castle Hotels in Ireland, has a history dating back to the 1590’s and sits on 30 acres of native woodlands. The castle has 23 en-suite bedrooms and 3 beautiful private rooms complimented by enchanting formal gardens. To read about the history of the castle click here. We stayed in the Coghill room.   We had a nice view of the gardens. Here are other pictures from inside the castle. We had to have our picture made with the knights.   We Googled and found a restaurant in town that was supposed to be delicious. It was nestled on the shore overlooking the bay. We arrived about 5:30 and watched the sunset. The food was fabulous, however the service was not. ...
