Burr…It's cold Outside!

It was freezing cold this weekend. It seems like winter weather comes earlier and earlier every year.
My babies helping me  with the fire or should I say getting in my way.
It took a ear but Lilly has found a way out of the fence. The latch on the gate was temporary and she learned that if you hit it enough the screws will come loose and the gate will pop open. Kev's dad brought he welder over Sunday mooring and fixed it. She can still pop it open, so we have to put a hook through the latch. She has also dug a small hole. She can't quiet get her head under, but she sure does try. We may have to angle the bottom of the gate in the future.
Kev's dad brought their puppy over to play. Roco is a Shepard/ Rottweiler mix and so freaking cute!
That wraps our weekend up.

Football Merchandise

It's football season and Walmart has all their Razorback merchandise out. I was browsing the aisle the other day and saw these. I immediately thought whiskey! A great way to sneak liquor into the stadium. Of course the back says intended for water only. Yeah right! No one looks at this and says water.

And a Roof

They finished the roof up today! Back of the house. Front of the house. They use these to hold the plywood together.

Ballyseede Castle

Tralle was a good stopping point from Dingle to Doolin. When looking for places to stay I came across the Ballyseede Castle Hotel. It was a little pricey, but since we had such great deals on all of the other B&Bs, I splurged. It's one of the best known Castle Hotels in Ireland, has a history dating back to the 1590’s and sits on 30 acres of native woodlands. The castle has 23 en-suite bedrooms and 3 beautiful private rooms complimented by enchanting formal gardens. To read about the history of the castle click here. We stayed in the Coghill room.   We had a nice view of the gardens. Here are other pictures from inside the castle. We had to have our picture made with the knights.   We Googled and found a restaurant in town that was supposed to be delicious. It was nestled on the shore overlooking the bay. We arrived about 5:30 and watched the sunset. The food was fabulous, however the service was not. ...
