Fresh Veggies

Kev's dad planted a huge garden this year and we are benefiting from it. Every time we see him he has a bag of tomatoes, squash, and zucchini. 
Sunday we went out there to pick green beans. The plants were loaded down. Here's our bags. 
I was generous and shared with our friends. We still had tons of squash and green tomatoes at the house. I plan on trying to can some of the green beans. That will be a whole post in itself, so stay tuned.

It's football season and Walmart has all their Razorback merchandise out. I was browsing the aisle the other day and saw these. I immediately thought whiskey! A great way to sneak liquor into the stadium. Of course the back says intended for water only. Yeah right! No one looks at this and says water.

Our Kitchen

My favorite room in the whole house!! We still need to put the cabinet pulls on the cabinets. I have them picked out, I think dad has ordered them. We also still have to trim out the appliance garage, microwave, and fridge. The trim pieces are in the garage. I absolutely love being able to cook while watching TV and the open space for entertaining.  There is so much storage! I can finally buy in bulk or buy two of something when it is on sale. I literally had one cabinet for food storage in the rent house. Everything was neatly crammed in there. Now I can actually get something without taking everything out.
