Ring troubles

Well it looks like I will have to buy Kev a new ring tomorrow and find me a decent stand in until I can find someone else to make mine. The guy who made my engagement ring didn't get my band made and is out of town until after the wedding. His wife claims I didn't tell her the wedding date, but I specifically remember, because I knew he was out of town and she said three weeks would be long enough. 

Anyways. It's sucks and I'm really pissed at them. We had another incident recently with them after I dropped my stones off. If I'd known I would have never used them again. 

Real rings or stand ins, we are getting married and that's all that matters!

Pool Time!

We spent the weekend at our friends' pool. We took the dogs with us Sunday so they could have a play date. M and B have to pit bulls that are so sweet. Nahla, the youngest one, loves to play! They were also puppy sitting the cutest beagle ever!  They absolutely love going places! They were waiting in the car while I was loading our things.  I've never been able to get Hatfield in the pool, but Lilly loves it. She started off just sitting on the steps and one day she just jumped in. So, now she jumps in every now and then to cool off. Kev mixed up refreshing peach mojitos (I guess I've had major peach craving lately) this weekend. I'd share the recipe but that's his job. I never really know what all goes into what I'm drinking. I just know it's delicious!

The Crud

I feel like crud! I've blown my nose so much this weekend that my face is raw and red. I can't imagine how I have this much snot in me. Anyways. I didn't get my Thursday 3 miler in or my 9 mile long run this weekend. How can I run when I can't freaking breathe?!? I've been taking medicine and using my Nettie Pot, so here's hoping I feel like running towards the end of this week. So glad this is a short work week and a field trip on Wednesday. I NEED a break!!
