Queen Perla

Perla thinks she is the queen of the house. She is a very vocal kitty and lets you know when she wants something. She does what she wants when she wants. One day I called and called her thinking she was outside. She never came. Fifteen minutes later she appeared, she had been laying in the back room. She heard me and didn't come becasue she didn't want to. Anyways here are some pictures of her over the last couple of weeks.
Sitting on the stairs leading to the attic. I left them down a couple of days while I was putting up Christmas. She would climb up and hang out and play in the attic.

She wanted attention so she climbed into my lap.

Hanging out in Lilly's kennel.

This morning she opened the cabinet door in the bathroom and crawled inside to explore. Anytime I leave a cabinet door open she checks it out. the picture on the right is a cabinet in the laundry room.

She loves shiny things! Many times I take my ring off and set it on the coffee table. She like to pick it up. She also does this with my stud earrings. I have had to buy three pairs because I keep losing (she keeps taking off) one of them. I've had to buy more bobby pins and hair ties for this same reason.

Football Merchandise

It's football season and Walmart has all their Razorback merchandise out. I was browsing the aisle the other day and saw these. I immediately thought whiskey! A great way to sneak liquor into the stadium. Of course the back says intended for water only. Yeah right! No one looks at this and says water.

And a Roof

They finished the roof up today! Back of the house. Front of the house. They use these to hold the plywood together.

Ballyseede Castle

Tralle was a good stopping point from Dingle to Doolin. When looking for places to stay I came across the Ballyseede Castle Hotel. It was a little pricey, but since we had such great deals on all of the other B&Bs, I splurged. It's one of the best known Castle Hotels in Ireland, has a history dating back to the 1590’s and sits on 30 acres of native woodlands. The castle has 23 en-suite bedrooms and 3 beautiful private rooms complimented by enchanting formal gardens. To read about the history of the castle click here. We stayed in the Coghill room.   We had a nice view of the gardens. Here are other pictures from inside the castle. We had to have our picture made with the knights.   We Googled and found a restaurant in town that was supposed to be delicious. It was nestled on the shore overlooking the bay. We arrived about 5:30 and watched the sunset. The food was fabulous, however the service was not. ...
