New Furniture

Kev had this amour in his trailer when I met him. It's like 100 plus years old. It needed some work, so his dad refinished it for us! I love it! It's our first antique. He also gave us an old time wash station. We put it in the attic for now since we really don't have the space for it.
Perla's scratching post was wearing out and she was starting to scratch on the couch. I was not having it, so I looked online and a new post was around $30 and I found this condo for $70. Score! She is starting to play on it some and has stopped scratching the couch.

I took the dog kennel out of the shower and just piled pillows and blankets in it for Lilly's bed. She loves it and I just crack the laundry room door. This way Perla can still use her little box and Lilly can't get out. I really want a at door for the laundry room door.
my aunt gave me this huge mirror. It's too big for one bathroom and not big enough for the master bathroom, so it will probably end up in the workout room. We need a large mirror in there.
The cabinet man  installed the cabinet handles last week. It make everything look so different.

Football Merchandise

It's football season and Walmart has all their Razorback merchandise out. I was browsing the aisle the other day and saw these. I immediately thought whiskey! A great way to sneak liquor into the stadium. Of course the back says intended for water only. Yeah right! No one looks at this and says water.

And a Roof

They finished the roof up today! Back of the house. Front of the house. They use these to hold the plywood together.

Ballyseede Castle

Tralle was a good stopping point from Dingle to Doolin. When looking for places to stay I came across the Ballyseede Castle Hotel. It was a little pricey, but since we had such great deals on all of the other B&Bs, I splurged. It's one of the best known Castle Hotels in Ireland, has a history dating back to the 1590’s and sits on 30 acres of native woodlands. The castle has 23 en-suite bedrooms and 3 beautiful private rooms complimented by enchanting formal gardens. To read about the history of the castle click here. We stayed in the Coghill room.   We had a nice view of the gardens. Here are other pictures from inside the castle. We had to have our picture made with the knights.   We Googled and found a restaurant in town that was supposed to be delicious. It was nestled on the shore overlooking the bay. We arrived about 5:30 and watched the sunset. The food was fabulous, however the service was not. ...
