My Valentine

I mentioned last Valentine's Day that I'm really not into the holiday and all the commercial stuff that goes along with it. We got each other cards and enjoyed a night in watching new episodes of House of Cards. Kev however, does know the way to my heart and brought home stuff the make Red Velvet Martinis! Yum!

The rim was lined with cream cheese icing! I could eat the whole tub. He used iced cake vodka, cream de cocoa, and a splash of buttermilk and red food coloring. He even topped it with Red Velvet Cake crumbles. What can I say, the man knows what I like and I love him bunches.

Football Merchandise

A great way to sneak liquor into the stadium. Of course the back says intended for water only. Yeah right! No one looks at this and says water.

And a Roof

They finished the roof up today! Back of the house. Front of the house. They use these to hold the plywood together.

It was a little pricey, but since we had such great deals on all of the other B&Bs, I splurged. It's one of the best known Castle Hotels in Ireland, has a history dating back to the 1590’s and sits on 30 acres of native woodlands. The castle has 23 en-suite bedrooms and 3 beautiful private rooms complimented by enchanting formal gardens. To read about the history of the castle click here. We stayed in the Coghill room.   We had a nice view of the gardens. Here are other pictures from inside the castle. We had to have our picture made with the knights.   We Googled and found a restaurant in town that was supposed to be delicious. It was nestled on the shore overlooking the bay. We arrived about 5:30 and watched the sunset. The food was fabulous, however the service was not. ...
