Stupid Deer!

A huge freaking buck ran into my car and took out my grill and head light with it! I was on my way to the store last night and the deer came out of no where. I tried to swerve around it, but it kept coming (stupid animals.. they should get scared and turn around, but no…) Hatfield and I would have ran off the road and hit a tree if I would have swerved anymore. We are both okay. He slid into he floorboard and was really scared, but no bumps or bruises. What an inconvenience! The insurance adjuster kept commenting about it being a total loss.

Our Kitchen

My favorite room in the whole house!! We still need to put the cabinet pulls on the cabinets. I have them picked out, I think dad has ordered them. We also still have to trim out the appliance garage, microwave, and fridge. The trim pieces are in the garage. I absolutely love being able to cook while watching TV and the open space for entertaining.  There is so much storage! I can finally buy in bulk or buy two of something when it is on sale. I literally had one cabinet for food storage in the rent house. Everything was neatly crammed in there. Now I can actually get something without taking everything out.

Playing with Fire

Sunday we cleaned up the back side of our land. This included burning lots of trash, scrap wood, limbs, and leaves.  There's been trash pile pile outside the back door that hasn't been burned because it is too close to the metal for the screened porch roof and wood for the dog houses. Personally I got tired of seeing it and decided to move ALL of it. I stacked the wood for the dog houses on a pallet and covered it up. Then I moved all the trash and scrap wood to the burn pile on the edge of the land. Once that was done, I started with limbs that had been cut off the trees. We piled them in the back of Kev's truck and drove them to the pile. What can I say, I got tired of walking back and forth dragging branches and they were too big for the wheelbarrow. We both like fire, so once we were started we just kept going. Burning limbs led to burning leaves. We don't rake!! That would take forever! Instead we light the leaves on fire and let them burn slowly across the grou

Other Favorite Wedding Day Photos

My brother and his future stepson. I love the photos of our wedding party, however a lot of the photos I wanted we couldn't do. We were limited to the front porch. No one wanted my dress to get dirty before the wedding. She was waving at her parents and realized as he was being left so she ran to catch up. My grandmother and her sister. I love the look of all the umbrellas. Twirling our dresses.

The Details

S'mores Bar  The inside of the barn… The food and bar where in here. My aunt did an AMAZING job with all the floral and decorations. She made my dream wedding come true!  The paper towels were to wipe the water off your seat.
