An Owl Invasion

I've always loved owls. In college owls were my sorority mascot. You could never find owls back then. The only places were sorority/fraternity special shops. I browsed Michael's today while my car was getting worked on. $600 worth of work but that's neither here nor there. Look at all the owls I found in Michael's!!


I bought this cute little white pitcher because it was on sale. i really loved the turquoise plate.  It would be darling as a spoon rest by my stove.



I saw this one while browsing lighting in Home Depot. I WILL own it!!

Pool Time!

We spent the weekend at our friends' pool. We took the dogs with us Sunday so they could have a play date. M and B have to pit bulls that are so sweet. Nahla, the youngest one, loves to play! They were also puppy sitting the cutest beagle ever!  They absolutely love going places! They were waiting in the car while I was loading our things.  I've never been able to get Hatfield in the pool, but Lilly loves it. She started off just sitting on the steps and one day she just jumped in. So, now she jumps in every now and then to cool off. Kev mixed up refreshing peach mojitos (I guess I've had major peach craving lately) this weekend. I'd share the recipe but that's his job. I never really know what all goes into what I'm drinking. I just know it's delicious!

The Crud

I feel like crud! I've blown my nose so much this weekend that my face is raw and red. I can't imagine how I have this much snot in me. Anyways. I didn't get my Thursday 3 miler in or my 9 mile long run this weekend. How can I run when I can't freaking breathe?!? I've been taking medicine and using my Nettie Pot, so here's hoping I feel like running towards the end of this week. So glad this is a short work week and a field trip on Wednesday. I NEED a break!!
