Baby Birds

Perla and I watched this little mama bird build a nest one Saturday morning. I went out a few days later and there were two tiny eggs.
I checked it a few days later and there were two more. I have been very careful not to disturb them because I didn't want her to leave them.
Anytime I am out there she pokes her head out to see what's going on.
This week I checked the nest  and there were baby birds! I've been sitting outside at night watching her feed them. I can't wait to see them get bigger and learn to fly.

It's football season and Walmart has all their Razorback merchandise out. I was browsing the aisle the other day and saw these. I immediately thought whiskey! A great way to sneak liquor into the stadium. Of course the back says intended for water only. Yeah right! No one looks at this and says water.

Our Kitchen

My favorite room in the whole house!! We still need to put the cabinet pulls on the cabinets. I have them picked out, I think dad has ordered them. We also still have to trim out the appliance garage, microwave, and fridge. The trim pieces are in the garage. I absolutely love being able to cook while watching TV and the open space for entertaining.  There is so much storage! I can finally buy in bulk or buy two of something when it is on sale. I literally had one cabinet for food storage in the rent house. Everything was neatly crammed in there. Now I can actually get something without taking everything out.
