Fall Is In The Air

Fall in in the air! Saturday morning I woke up to a chill in the air. I went on a short run and then stopped by the grocery store. I came home and opened all the windows and made a huge pot of chili while I watched football. The razorbacks are actually winning some this year. GO HOGS! When Kev got home, he cut eh tree that fell a few weeks ago into smaller pieces while I gathered limbs and branches. A few friends came over and we made a huge bonfire.
The embers were soaring high in the sky. It was beautiful! When you would throw another branch on, it looked as if it was a volcano erupting. We stayed up chatting until around 1:00am.

Sunday we did absolutely nothing! I mean nada! I did get up around 7:00 and fed the animals and had some coffee, but was back in bed at 11:00 and slept til after 1:00. I laid around binge watching Revenge on Netflix. I'm addicted! Kev watched football and napped on the couch. The dogs went from the couch with him to the bedroom with me all day. I love lazy days. There was tons to do around the yard, but it can wait.

Football Merchandise

It's football season and Walmart has all their Razorback merchandise out. I was browsing the aisle the other day and saw these. I immediately thought whiskey! A great way to sneak liquor into the stadium. Of course the back says intended for water only. Yeah right! No one looks at this and says water.

And a Roof

They finished the roof up today! Back of the house. Front of the house. They use these to hold the plywood together.

Ballyseede Castle

Tralle was a good stopping point from Dingle to Doolin. When looking for places to stay I came across the Ballyseede Castle Hotel. It was a little pricey, but since we had such great deals on all of the other B&Bs, I splurged. It's one of the best known Castle Hotels in Ireland, has a history dating back to the 1590’s and sits on 30 acres of native woodlands. The castle has 23 en-suite bedrooms and 3 beautiful private rooms complimented by enchanting formal gardens. To read about the history of the castle click here. We stayed in the Coghill room.   We had a nice view of the gardens. Here are other pictures from inside the castle. We had to have our picture made with the knights.   We Googled and found a restaurant in town that was supposed to be delicious. It was nestled on the shore overlooking the bay. We arrived about 5:30 and watched the sunset. The food was fabulous, however the service was not. ...
