What the Animals Have Been Up To

So... I have been slacking on the ol blog. I've had several posts drafted, but I've not felt like completing them. The other night I was sitting outside and Perla brought me a baby snake! Oh Emm Gee!!! I also found her with this lizard cornered by the front door. I'm not even sure how it got in the house. I'm sure I had a door open. I'm bad about leaving them open, especially when it's nice outside.
Doggie Love!
Perla's favorite spot.
The dogs have been busy digging lots of holes. every mooring when I let them out they run and check them. Not sure what they are trying to find, but some are really deep. I'm going to try to get better about posting things in real time ins tread of back dating. UGH!!

Football Merchandise

It's football season and Walmart has all their Razorback merchandise out. I was browsing the aisle the other day and saw these. I immediately thought whiskey! A great way to sneak liquor into the stadium. Of course the back says intended for water only. Yeah right! No one looks at this and says water.

Ballyseede Castle

Tralle was a good stopping point from Dingle to Doolin. When looking for places to stay I came across the Ballyseede Castle Hotel. It was a little pricey, but since we had such great deals on all of the other B&Bs, I splurged. It's one of the best known Castle Hotels in Ireland, has a history dating back to the 1590’s and sits on 30 acres of native woodlands. The castle has 23 en-suite bedrooms and 3 beautiful private rooms complimented by enchanting formal gardens. To read about the history of the castle click here. We stayed in the Coghill room.   We had a nice view of the gardens. Here are other pictures from inside the castle. We had to have our picture made with the knights.   We Googled and found a restaurant in town that was supposed to be delicious. It was nestled on the shore overlooking the bay. We arrived about 5:30 and watched the sunset. The food was fabulous, however the service was not. ...

A Sunday Swim

Sunday afternoon we decided to take a drive. When it was time for the dogs to get in their pen, Hatfield refused. He just stood at the car door. He wanted to go to. So we loaded them up and headed out. Our drive took us to a small lake about 20 minutes always. I didn't even know it existed. Anyways, we let the dogs swim. They loved it! Watch Lilly leap like a dolphin. Hilarious! Or at least it is to us.
