Christmas

My rent house has two huge cedar trees that I always cut branches from for Christmas decor. This year I was really missing my garland and greenery, so my wonderful husband saw someone the woods by work and sawed me off several huge branches.
I cut some pine from the yard to add to it. My mantle looks so much more Christmassy now.
I have also been searching for the perfect first Christmas ornament and haven't found one. So I made one.

Football Merchandise

It's football season and Walmart has all their Razorback merchandise out. I was browsing the aisle the other day and saw these. I immediately thought whiskey! A great way to sneak liquor into the stadium. Of course the back says intended for water only. Yeah right! No one looks at this and says water.

And a Roof

They finished the roof up today! Back of the house. Front of the house. They use these to hold the plywood together.

Dogwoods

Sunday I inventoried our Dogwood Trees. We have 24 total. Some are just small bushes. There are probably about 12 big trees. I marked them so that when we are clearing brush later we won't kill them. My hope is to clear out some around them so they can all grow into large trees. They are absolutely beautiful to look at!!! I want to get some more pictures, but I got Poison Ivy on my legs the other day so I'm staying out of the woods for now.
