Taco Pizza

Wondering what to do with the leftovers from taco night? Make taco pizza. I got the idea from Pinterest. I know right. Like most recipes, I looked at it and made it my own.

I started by cooking the crust (I used the refrigerated pizza crust) in the oven. I cooked mine a little longer than it said because I like a crispy crust.

While it was cooking, I mashed the leftover black beans with leftover onion, garlic, and taco sauce. When the crust was ready I spread the bean mixture over it and topped it with leftover taco meat, salsa, jalapeƱos, and cheese. I cooked it about ten minutes longer or until the cheese melted.

A little leftover lettuce and scallions and wahla taco pizza. It was actually quite yummy.

Football Merchandise

It's football season and Walmart has all their Razorback merchandise out. I was browsing the aisle the other day and saw these. I immediately thought whiskey! A great way to sneak liquor into the stadium. Of course the back says intended for water only. Yeah right! No one looks at this and says water.

And a Roof

They finished the roof up today! Back of the house. Front of the house. They use these to hold the plywood together.

Our Kitchen

My favorite room in the whole house!! We still need to put the cabinet pulls on the cabinets. I have them picked out, I think dad has ordered them. We also still have to trim out the appliance garage, microwave, and fridge. The trim pieces are in the garage. I absolutely love being able to cook while watching TV and the open space for entertaining.  There is so much storage! I can finally buy in bulk or buy two of something when it is on sale. I literally had one cabinet for food storage in the rent house. Everything was neatly crammed in there. Now I can actually get something without taking everything out.
