The present

After writing the post about life being hard, I wanted to add that the sun does shine after the storms. I'm so blessed to have Kev in my life. Our meeting was so unexpected. I was even seeing someone when we met. I was out with B and M one night and Kev met up with us (he is a friend of B's) we all went back to their house to visit around the fire pit. Eventually they went to bed and the next think I knew it was 6:00 in the morning. Kev and I had been chatting and laughing all night. I was wanting to spend more and more time with him. I broke it off with the other guy and we started dating. Can I tell you how lucky I am? He is so good an me and puts up with my quirks. And he adores my animals!! Which is very important. They love him too, especially Hatfield. Just goes to show you that good things come when you're least expecting it.

Football Merchandise

It's football season and Walmart has all their Razorback merchandise out. I was browsing the aisle the other day and saw these. I immediately thought whiskey! A great way to sneak liquor into the stadium. Of course the back says intended for water only. Yeah right! No one looks at this and says water.

Ballyseede Castle

Tralle was a good stopping point from Dingle to Doolin. When looking for places to stay I came across the Ballyseede Castle Hotel. It was a little pricey, but since we had such great deals on all of the other B&Bs, I splurged. It's one of the best known Castle Hotels in Ireland, has a history dating back to the 1590’s and sits on 30 acres of native woodlands. The castle has 23 en-suite bedrooms and 3 beautiful private rooms complimented by enchanting formal gardens. To read about the history of the castle click here. We stayed in the Coghill room.   We had a nice view of the gardens. Here are other pictures from inside the castle. We had to have our picture made with the knights.   We Googled and found a restaurant in town that was supposed to be delicious. It was nestled on the shore overlooking the bay. We arrived about 5:30 and watched the sunset. The food was fabulous, however the service was not. ...

A Sunday Swim

Sunday afternoon we decided to take a drive. When it was time for the dogs to get in their pen, Hatfield refused. He just stood at the car door. He wanted to go to. So we loaded them up and headed out. Our drive took us to a small lake about 20 minutes always. I didn't even know it existed. Anyways, we let the dogs swim. They loved it! Watch Lilly leap like a dolphin. Hilarious! Or at least it is to us.
