Escape Artist

My sweet Lou was an escape artist. I got a message one day from a neighbor saying a yellow dog was trying to get into my chicken coop. I rushed home from work to find Lilly running around the year. I walked around the fence looking for places she may have dug out (that's what she always did at the rent house), but couldn't find any. I turned the cameras on a watched the recorded footage. She somehow managed to spread the fencing apart, heave herself up there, and slide thougg the whole she made.

This picture shows her sliding her body through the fence.

This is a close up of the hole she created.

Worn out!

Football Merchandise

It's football season and Walmart has all their Razorback merchandise out. I was browsing the aisle the other day and saw these. I immediately thought whiskey! A great way to sneak liquor into the stadium. Of course the back says intended for water only. Yeah right! No one looks at this and says water.

And a Roof

They finished the roof up today! Back of the house. Front of the house. They use these to hold the plywood together.

Dogwoods

Sunday I inventoried our Dogwood Trees. We have 24 total. Some are just small bushes. There are probably about 12 big trees. I marked them so that when we are clearing brush later we won't kill them. My hope is to clear out some around them so they can all grow into large trees. They are absolutely beautiful to look at!!! I want to get some more pictures, but I got Poison Ivy on my legs the other day so I'm staying out of the woods for now.
