Can You Say FLAT!!


Our land is FINALLY FLAT!!!!! Lots of rain have kept the excavating guys from being able to knock down our ridge. I got a call from my dad after school saying it was flat. So I rushed over to see. I now keep a pair of rubber boots in my trunk. You never know when you may need them. I have had to find time to run home to change many times. It's hard to walk up there in heels plus I'd ruin them. 


It's hard to tell but the far left side goes out farther. That is where Kev will put his shop. As you can see the front yard will slope off considerably.

For the most part, I will keep all of this wooded. I eventually plan to clear the underbrush, but not anytime soon. I have a house to build and a wedding to plan. Landscaping can come later.

   Tralle was a good stopping point from Dingle to Doolin. When looking for places to stay I came across the Ballyseede Castle Hotel. It was a little pricey, but since we had such great deals on all of the other B&Bs, I splurged. We had to have our picture made with the knights.   We Googled and found a restaurant in town that was supposed to be delicious. It was nestled on the shore overlooking the bay. Can't Wait to Finally Have a Garage!

This morning it was 28 degrees outside! I warmed my car up for 20 minutes and all the frost still wasn't off the windows. I can't wait til next winter when I will have a garage to park in. Not only for winter months but all months truly. In the fall I always get acorns and leaves stuck in my window. In the summer my car is always covered in bird poop and hot and in spring it's covered in pollen. Just one of the reasons I'm so excited about building a house. Having garage to park in!

A Sunday Swim

Sunday afternoon we decided to take a drive. When it was time for the dogs to get in their pen, Hatfield refused. He just stood at the car door. He wanted to go to. So we loaded them up and headed out. Our drive took us to a small lake about 20 minutes always. I didn't even know it existed. Anyways, we let the dogs swim. They loved it! Watch Lilly leap like a dolphin. Hilarious! Or at least it is to us.
